Trans Am with complete, documented history, in the rare, elegant color combination Platinum silver – interior black vinyl. In original condition, unrestored, first paint, Spanish registration with historic ('H') plate, TÜV until 06/2029, with only verifiable 10,800 miles! Engine 6.6 403 CI Oldsmobile V8, 3-speed automatic transmission TH400. All original stickers/decals on the vehicle are present.
Options: WS6 package, A/C R134 (functional), large Fisher T-tops (100% watertight) with original Fisher storage pockets (carriage emblem), heated rear window, spoiler, Delco AM/FM radio, electric antenna.
Delivery was in October 1979 via dealer Vince Paterno Pontiac/GMC in Charleston, West Virginia to the customer Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones sold the Trans Am with only 4,000 miles in September 2012 to Mr. Hurley / Texas. I bought the vehicle in August 2022 with 5,600 miles and transported it from Texas via Munich to Mallorca. As you can see, I drove 5,000 miles in 2.5 years. So that’s what the previous owners managed in 43 years ;-) For me the Trans Am is a daily driver. Runs and shifts like a 1979 demonstrator. The original paint is in immaculate condition. The car has never been through a car wash. I only clean it with automotive wet wipes and occasional hand washes. The interior is also in like-new condition. No tears etc. The carpets show no wear. The first owner had the Trans Am completely cavity-sealed. Clearly visible at the A-pillar/door hinge and the trunk lid hinges. I renewed the 43-year-old shock absorbers in 2022.
