How do I create an account at Mallorca-Zero?
Just click on "Register" at the top right. You need to provide your name, a valid email address, and a password. Then confirm your email address via the link we send you.

My Account
I deleted my account. Can I register again?
If you delete your account, your email address will be blocked for 6 months for security reasons. During this time, you cannot register again with the same email address. This is to prevent misuse.

We ban accounts that violate our terms of use. The most common reason is the creation of multiple accounts by one person. Only one account is allowed per user.

Why was my ad rejected for "disallowed content"?
That's of course annoying when the listing doesn't go live immediately. Usually it's due to one of these small issues:

Appropriate wording:
We value a polite tone. Inappropriate expressions or swear words unfortunately don't belong in a professional listing.

So that everyone can really find and understand your offer, clear language without a strong dialect is important. That also makes search work much better for other users.
Do not write your text ONLY IN UPPERCASE. That looks like "shouting".

Why was my listing rejected as "Duplicate"?
One is enough:
If you list the same item or the exact same service multiple times (even in different categories), it will be detected as a duplicate. The goal is to prevent the search from being flooded with identical results. It may also be that your item is included in another listing as part of a bundle.
Old listing still active:
If you deleted a listing to immediately repost it identically, the system often recognizes the similarity again. It's usually better to simply edit or update the existing listing.
Too much similarity:
If the texts and images of two different listings are almost identical, the newer one is often rejected. Each listing should really describe a unique offer.
Tip:
Just take a quick look in your profile to see whether the offer might already be online. If not, change the text or the images a little, and it will probably work on the next try!

Clear language choice: So that everyone can find and understand your offer, your listing must be written entirely in one language. You can choose between German, Spanish, or English.
No language mixing: A mix of different languages within a listing or the use of other languages is unfortunately not permitted. This often leads to misunderstandings and makes searching difficult for other users.
Our tip: Simply choose one of these three languages for your entire text. Once you’ve adjusted it, you can repost the listing right away!

My Ads
Why can I only deactivate my ad and not delete it immediately?
To ensure fairness on our marketplace, we want to prevent what's known as "pushing" (constantly deleting and relisting identical listings to get back to the top).
Don't worry: as soon as you deactivate your listing, it becomes invisible to other users — just like a deletion. Do you only want to adjust details such as text, images, or the price? Simply use the "Edit" function.
Deactivated listings will be automatically and permanently deleted from our system after a short period.

How often can I renew my ad?
You can renew each ad for free every 7 days to push it back to the top. Additionally, there is a limit of 10 renewals per 24 hours for your entire account.

Why does my ad need to be reviewed after editing?
If you change the title, text, price, or upload new images, our team must ensure that the content still complies with our guidelines. Your ad will briefly go into "Waiting for approval" status.

Can I change images without the ad being reviewed?
Yes! If you only change the order of images or delete images, your ad remains active. Only if you upload *new* images is a re-review necessary.

What does "To give away" mean?
If you select "To give away" for the price (or set the price to 0), your ad will be specially marked. This is ideal for quickly getting rid of things you no longer need.

List view or gallery view?
You can change the layout of the results using the icon on the far right of the search bar. The **Gallery View** (Grid) shows large images and is ideal for browsing. The **List View** is more compact and shows more details at a glance. Your setting will be saved.

What is a Top Ad slot?
A Top Ad slot is a booked space where you can place one of your ads. This ad will then appear highlighted and always at the top of the category.

Can I change the ad in the slot?
Yes! That is the big advantage. You can move another of your active ads into the slot at any time. The old ad will then become a standard ad again.

How many images can I upload?
You can upload up to 50 images per listing. The first image will be displayed as the main image in the listing. You can also move the images by drag & drop.

Which image formats and sizes are allowed?
We support JPG, PNG, and WebP. The maximum file size is 12 MB per image. For optimal display, we recommend landscape images with at least 1280x1024 pixels.

How can I change the order of the images?
Simply by drag & drop: Click on an image, hold the mouse button, and drag it to the desired position. The image in the first position is your cover image.

Please check if your images are in JPG, PNG, or WebP format and not larger than 12 MB. Sometimes reloading the page or trying a different browser helps.

Why are some usernames or display names in my mailbox crossed out?
If a name or title is crossed out, it means the content is no longer available.
• Username crossed out: The user has deleted their account or has been suspended. You can no longer send them messages.

Open the chat with the user. Click on the menu (three dots) in the top right corner and select "Delete dialog". This will remove the entire chat history from your mailbox.
