For our tourist apartment complex in Cala d’Or we are looking for a responsible person who combines Front Office and Reservations duties.
About us
Our apartment complex, located on the seafront, opened its doors in 1973. It has 150 apartments and a restaurant. Our clients include both owners and tourists. Our goal is to offer a peaceful environment, excellent service and a unique experience. The complex is open from April to October. For the current season we are looking for reinforcement at reception, with the possibility of continuation after the season in the context of the implementation of a new hotel system.
Responsibilities
• Attending to guests at reception (check-in, check-out, information and advice during their stay)
• Managing reservations and maintaining booking systems
• Customer service by phone and email
• Cash handling, invoicing and daily closings
• Professional handling of complaints
• Coordination with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage and management
• Analysis and optimization of the current reservation system
• Support in the implementation of a new hotel management system (PMS, CRS, Channel Manager)
• Monitoring occupancy and managing online reputation
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in reception, reservations or similar positions
• Training in tourism, hospitality or similar
• Languages: high level of German and Spanish (B2–C2), intermediate English (B1–B2); other languages are an advantage
• Proficiency in IT tools (MS Office) and hotel management software (PMS/CRS)
• Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
• Organizational skills, proactivity and attention to detail
• Teamwork, stress resistance and a positive attitude
• Availability to work morning and evening shifts
• Residence in the southeast of Mallorca
