I'm looking for a new home for my beloved cats
My ad is unbearably difficult for me, because due to health reasons I have to move into a care facility, I am looking for a new home for my cats.
In 2016 I met the first kitten at the 1st finca, from a group of wild cats that we cared for.
The tomcat was as small as a mouse. His name is Schmutzli.
A short time later someone abandoned a small beige cat on the property that had inflamed eyes. I treated her medically and nursed her back to health; her name is Mausi.
She has blue eyes and is not 100% healthy.
When we had to move because of mold infestation and moisture damage, we took these two cats with us; they are well socialized.
But Mausi was pregnant, which we did not know, and she had 3 kittens. In 2018 two of her kittens were shot here in the new surroundings, only 18 months old, although they were neutered, microchipped, had EU passports and were registered. Sooooooooooooo sad.
The cats had their own annex, like a large cat house, and because of hunters I had an outdoor enclosure built that was connected by a tunnel between the cat house and the outdoor run.
In 2020 I provided a small group of cats with fresh WATER and food twice daily. I also donated money and food so that 16 cats there could be sterilized and neutered. A small red tomcat was released from a cat trap in front of my eyes and simply abandoned there.
He was perhaps 10 weeks old. During the neutering action I decided to take him to me.
His name is Carlos. And he is such a typically red tomcat, soooooooooo affectionate and funny.
Last year a man from the neighboring finca asked me if a small cat belonged to me? No.
Only minutes later I heard noises, and behold, the little cat had been placed on my property through the fence.
And so I had another cat who is very special; his name is Gismo, a social tomcat, I've never experienced anything like it.
On 01.December 25 the 3rd kitten of Mausi was shot; she was the only outdoor cat, rare, but she had a desire for freedom and so she was allowed outside. She would have turned 8 in May.
Because of my cancer illness 5 years ago and the subsequent consequences, I am forced to move into a care facility, and also the finca, whose damages are not repaired, thus represent a major limitation for me. I postponed it as long as possible, but it is no longer possible.....
All cats are sterilized, neutered....dewormed.
Mausi born 2016 and Schmutzli born 2016 have chips, EU passports and all entries (vaccinations).
Carlos and Gismo have no chip and no EU passport, but are neutered and sooooo sweet.
It would certainly be possible to dismantle the cat house and set it up again; I would also give that for free.
All utensils, scratching posts, etc. I would give for free.
Maybe there is someone for whom animals are not just animals but family members.
The greatest compliment I always received was: I would also like to be a cat with you......
My greatest wish would be that these wonderful creatures could continue to lead a beautiful life.
Thank you for your attention and I would be happy to find someone who would like to give them a new home.
