MTSea Water, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is a small, busy company providing services to yachts and superyachts in Mallorca. We foster good relationships with our customers and suppliers and believe loyalty is a key element to our ongoing success as is our belief that to save time in the long run we should do things right the first time. To help us in our aspirations we are looking for a new Parts and Procurement Manager. We see this role as a key element to the good running and reputation of our business so finding the right person is important to us. We are looking for someone with excellent English and Spanish skills, who is able to able to maintain grace under pressure and is good natured even when there are multiple demands on their time. It is a customer facing role that is frequently the first point of contact, we would expect a high level of service, care and discretion from this role.

The day to day includes: -
Purchasing of parts
Managing and maintaining stores (parts in and parts out)
Stock control including setting levels and content
Maintain invent records so that others can use the system independently
Ensure accurate entry of parts to timesheets and estimates
Work with the technicians to ensure they are kept supplied with correct parts and that they provide operationally necessary information
Maintain and build good relationships with customers and suppliers

Must have
Meticulous record keeping habits
Able to organise their own world. Able to see how to join their world to that of others so the company operates as a whole not separate parts
Happy to take on responsibility and the supervision of others as the role develops
Able and willing to identify and propose ways to make improvements

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is organised, able to see what needs to be done, how to do it and is able to involve others in their vision and goals. The successful applicant would need to be able to drive, live and work legally in Spain and preferably have experience in a similar industry in this type of role. Written and spoken English and Spanish are necessary as is being computer literate
