When was the last time you attended a first aid course? For many, it dates back to obtaining their driving licence at 16 or 18 and is already decades ago.

Especially in Mallorca, quick action can be decisive. Many residents live on fincas or in rural areas, while emergency services are particularly busy during the season. The first minutes until professional help arrives can save lives.

Who am I?
I am 56 years old and have volunteered with the local fire brigade and in emergency medical services since I was 16. During this time I have been involved in a wide variety of operations of differing types and difficulty and have gained extensive practical experience.

As a trained paramedic, first responder and long-time instructor for first aid as well as a county fire service instructor, I am happy to pass on this knowledge – practical, understandable and without a lot of unnecessary theory.
