WOLFGANG AUTRICHE 1957 is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer
from Austria, who has been living in the coastal town of Santanyi on Mallorca since 2019. Here he runs a so-called studio gallery at calle sol 5, at the back of the local church, together with his son. The artist has quickly established himself as the king of Mallorca's Pop Art. Collectors of his art come from all over Europe and also from overseas.
Santanyi is home to the most visited artisan market in the Balearic Islands. On market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can meet the artist in person
and acquire one of his works at studio prices. Better and cheaper!.. is often heard from his customers. This is also the artist's motto. Air travelers can take pictures with them on the plane as a rolled canvas. International customers who do not want to come to Mallorca can purchase a selection of his works at the US gallery Saatchi Art.
