WOLFGANG AUTRICHE is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer from Austria who lives in Santanyi on Mallorca. A few years ago the artist discovered digital painting. He was enthusiastic about the speed with which the paint dries and can be refreshed again, as well as about the versatility and flexibility of the medium. The artist paints in combination with Photoshop- Illustrator etc.. A sketch, then stroke by stroke, as if it were oil on canvas. Digital painting is art, just like traditional painting techniques. The graphics tablet is simply a great tool that provides the artist with hundreds of different brushes and colored pencils. Nowadays there is no better way to produce detailed-rich art in high-quality at an affordable price. The Santanyi ARTE gallery is located in the beautiful coastal town of Santanyi, at the rear of the parish church on Calle Sol 5; Santanyi holds the nicest market on the island every Wednesday and on Saturdays.
