Decorative chess set
A beautiful chess set made of white / light blue-green alabaster (appearance similar to marble) from Volterra/Italy with a white table (wood, matte white painted), with additional pieces for checkers, also made of alabaster. Table height 75 cm (standard table height), tabletop 48 x 40 cm, chessboard size 37 x 37 cm, piece height King = 7.5 cm.
The chessboard looks very good and representative despite a break that has been very cleanly repaired (see photos). (The playing enjoyment will certainly not be affected by this.)
Overall, the board is glued to the table – board and table thus form a single unit.
