I am selling an extensive and well-maintained Karl May book collection with a total of 68 volumes. The collection stands out for a very high proportion of unread and factory-sealed (OVP) books as well as a rare antiquarian edition from 1925.
The collection in detail:
Part I: Karl May Illustrated Works (47 books)
Deluxe edition with contemporary illustrations (including Venceslav Cerny).
Special feature: 13 volumes are still factory-sealed (OVP)!
Very decorative blue-and-gold edition (Bertelsmann/Stuttgart).
Part II: Karl May Bertelsmann Club Edition (10 books)
Condition: Almost completely like new – 9 out of 10 books are still sealed!
Part III: Karl May Verlag Neues Leben Berlin (9 books)
Classic editions, all read/opened, good condition.
Part IV: Individual volumes & rarity (2 books)
“Weihnachten im Wilden Westen” (TOSA Verlag).
RARITY: “Der sterbende Kaiser” (Karl May Verlag Radebeul, published 1925). With historical photos. A true collector's item for lovers of antiquarian editions (pages somewhat damaged due to age).
Condition:
The majority of the collection is in excellent condition; many books are absolutely like new and unread thanks to their original packaging.
