The practical Wolfcraft universal wood drill set consists of a drill slider, a board rod, an 8 mm wood drill with depth stop and 40 wooden spikes. This is the perfect equipment for all T-, surface- and corner joints. With the practical board clamp and the drilling template you can secure the first board on the workbench. The drilling template serves not only as a board holder but also as a drilling guide. With the two overlapping 3-head drill bushings for 6, 8 and 10 mm tips you can drill identical holes at the same height. In addition, there is a corresponding guide slot for each of the three spike sizes to adjust the drilling. This ensures precise positioning of the dowel holes in the T-joints. Holes in wooden surfaces must not be drilled deeper than 2/3 of the wood thickness, so the supplied depth stop is a great help, especially for T- and corner joints. It allows reliable setting of the drilling depth. Surface joints For surface joints, place both boards on top of each other on the workbench and secure them with the spike accessories and the two clamping jaws. Drilling into the overlapping drill openings ensures perfectly matched opposing holes at the front edges. Corner joints For corner joints, reattach the variable holding straps so that the second board can be held at a right angle. Now you can correctly drill the front hole in the base and the hole in the side wall. The supplied depth stop ensures the hole is not too deep. You can now slide the drill guide along the edge to the next position. Finally place the clamp on the other side so that the guide determines the outer hole precisely. T-joint connections For T-joints, first place the spikes on the front of the base board. Mark the base position with a pencil on the side piece so that the mark on the drill slider indicates the correct distance between base and pencil line. Then simply slide the guide groove to ensure the exact position of the opposite hole. Drill, glue and done: It has never been so easy to make dowel connections.
