For sale is an original, hand-signed graphic by the famous Swiss artist Alois Carigiet (1902–1985). Carigiet is one of the most important Swiss graphic artists of the 20th century, internationally known for his illustrations and his vividly colored alpine scenes.

Description

The work shows a cheerful, color-rich winter landscape with typical Carigiet character. His winter village scenes are particularly appreciated and rank among the most popular subjects of his late work. The smaller edition of only 250 copies makes this sheet additionally valuable.
