Hello, I am selling here my very nice original Chronoswiss Lunar Chronograph watch from the year 12/2000.
The watch is a part of my collection and has always been on a watch winder.
The watch runs perfectly, but the last revision was in 2010, so it wouldn't be bad if you would go into the revision again. The cost of this at Chronoswiss is about 700€. A local watchmaker will charge around 350-400€.
The original crocodile strap has signs of wear (inside), you can of course still wear it, but I would replace it as a buyer. An original strap costs €300 at Chronoswiss and an accessory crocodile strap costs around €85. So you pay a surcharge of 215€ for the Chronoswiss branding inside the bracelet.
The watch comes in a full set with all papers and original box and with an original Chronoswiss folding clasp.
So if you want to bring this great watch in new condition, you have to invest about 1000€ (revision & new crocodile original strap) at Chronoswiss. Of course, none of this is a must, the watch runs flawlessly!
I sell the watch here for 2850€ and even if you add the 1000€ in costs, this is still the best price compared to Ebay.
Comparison prices start on Ebay at 4300€ and then the watch is not fresh from the revision and usually the strap is also an accessory strap (so not an original Chronoswiss strap).
