Delivery took place in October 1979 through the dealer Vince Paterno Pontiac/GMC in Charleston, West Virginia to the customer Mr. Jones.Mr. Jones sold the Trans Am with only 4000 miles to Mr. Hurley / Texas in September 2012.I bought the vehicle in August 2022 with 5600 miles and moved it from Texas via Munich to Mallorca.As you can see, I drove 5000 miles in 2.5 years. So what the previous owners have achieved in 43 years;-) For me, the Trans Am is a daily driver. Running, shifting like a 79 demonstration car.The first paint is in perfect condition.The car has never seen a car wash. I only clean it with car wipes and occasionally hand wash.The interior is also in mint condition.No cracks etc. The carpets do not show any abrasions. The first owner had the Trans Am completely sealed with a cavity. Nice to see on the A pillar/door hinge and hinges from the trunk lid.I renewed the 43-year-old shock absorbers in 2022. For "acoustic reasons" ;-) I had a continuous exhaust pipe made of stainless steel and exchanged for the catalytic converter (8 screws)Cat is supplied.
