With the F8n, Zoom offers an excellent and extremely flexible 8-channel/10-track Field Recorder & Mixer that brings with it pretty much everything the heart of a sound designer desires. This includes not only a robust housing with many Mic/Line options, but also intuitive and effective features such as Advanced Look-Ahead Hybrid Limiter and Zoom AutoMix that optimize workflow and sound. Despite the compact design, every controller, every jack, every button is easily accessible, while the LCD display provides the necessary information on the respective signals. Conveniently, the F8N can also be used as an 8-in/4-out USB Audio Interface (@96kHz), which makes the work even more flexible. In general, Zooms F8n works in 192 kHz/24 bit format and delivers excellent results for every project. Filters, mid-side decoding, Mp3 export and compatibility with iOs devices are just a few of the many useful things you can do without much.
